This year’s thought leadership in focus

Like every Saturday morning this year, we’re thankful for your time today.

This morning, we’re taking a lookback over 2024 to review some of the most highly circulated Saturday TRC Nexus pieces.

Our Saturday stories, we hope, help set TRC Nexus apart from other newsletters that you could spend time reading – the topics your read each weekend are birthed from our mission to provide valuable executive communications. Our January 20, 2024 piece penned by TRC President Mike Rusher examined the history and purpose of TRC Nexus in a column that spurred a flurry of new subscribers – we are thankful each time you forward our product throughout the entire year.

Each week, we aim to produce original content that is both sourced and recommended by senior executives from around the state. The end of the year is an opportunity to look back on the top-performing Saturday pieces – providing our subscribers with an annual review of the key issues, introducing our new subscribers to some of our best content, and to begin dreaming of the best topics to cover in 2025. Let’s hop in:

Here are the five highest-performing Saturday pieces of 2024:

Here’s a list of the education pieces we produced:

  • Part One: The divided foundation of North Carolina’s public school system…
  • Part Two: Models of education governance benefit different states…
